Corrections And Updates
A correction fixes an error that affected the accuracy or meaning of the published article. Minor spelling or formatting changes that do not affect meaning may be made without a notice.
How Reports Are Reviewed
A report is checked against the cited source and, when necessary, additional primary or authoritative material. The review considers whether the issue changes a claim, its context, the article's conclusion, or a reader's ability to make sense of the evidence.
How Material Changes Are Presented
When a correction materially changes the substance of an article, the revised page should identify what was corrected and why. Updated publication information should reflect the date of the material revision once the site is live.
